I am pleased to announce that Tapio Arimo will join Rettig ICC in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) latest on May 13, 2019.
Tapio is currently the CFO of Kamux Oyj, a car retail chain specialising in used car sales with operations in Finland, Sweden and Germany. Kamux’s shares are listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki main market. At Kamux, Tapio’s main responsibilities have included developing and managing the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, internal controls and liaising with key financial stakeholders such as investors, banks and analysts.
Before joining Kamux Oyj, Tapio spent fifteen years at Nokia and Microsoft Mobile in various roles in Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Sales Operations. He has an M. Sc. degree in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics (today part of Aalto University) and an MBA from A.B. Freeman School of Business in Tulane University.
Rettig ICC’s current CFO Stig Björkqvist continues in his current role until Tapio joins the company. After that, Stig will take on the role of Rettig ICC Group Controller, reporting to Tapio.
Tapio will be based in Helsinki and will be a member of the Rettig ICC Management Team. With Tapio joining Rettig ICC, we will be more prepared for the challenges ahead and his experience will support us in developing the company in the right direction.
